EretzYeshuvNoa Dar
The name ‘EretzYeshuv’ is taken from childhood games and is composed of words that once held a world perceived as certain, but now form a tangle of doubts, distress, and pain.
As generals favor, strategy and tactics are also the approaches to coping here.
The first approach dissects and categorizes that world into components and particles, seeking to understand what it is made of, what binds it, and whether its operational codes inscribed in the body can be altered.
The second approach adheres to the practice of ‘lessons in physical and mental resilience’ aimed at fostering “healing.”
These lessons consist of verbal instructions encouraging retreat, relaxation, and relinquishing power and control.
Amidst a flood of words, in a dark and unstable space, the body and its movements—far from resilient—grope their way forward.

works are recognized for their originality, boldness, and in-depth research. In collaboration with artists from various creative fields, she established the Noa Dar Dance Group in 1993 and has since created over 30 works. These range from solos to large-scale productions, including works for young audiences, site-specific performances, and installations. Dar's work explores the charged encounters between the body and its physical and social environments, and in her latest pieces, her body becomes an arena for reexamining notions of temporality and transformation. Her creations have been featured at leading festivals in Israel and internationally, including the Israel Festival, Tokyo International Dance Biennale, Oriente Occidente, Rencontres Internationales de Danse Contemporaine, Santiago a Mil, Sziget, Shanghai Contemporary Dance, Holland Festival, and more. Among her notable awards are the Landau Prize for her artistic contribution, the Rosenblum Prize for outstanding artists, and the Ministry of Culture's Creation Prize for her body of work.
