In the FootstepsRuth Direktor and Iris Lana
A tour for the physically fit!
The “In the Footsteps” performance piece is an audio-guided urban walk, drawing a contemporary map that allows us to peek into historical layers where pioneer dancers, gymnasts, wanderers, parade organisers, performers and artists operated in the public space.
Through our walking feet we will experience our choreographic thought as individuals and as a group, and tell a story about body, imagination and personal and collective memory.
Meeting and ending at the Well, Suzanne Dellal Centre, Walking shoes, hat and water are recommended.
By Ruth Direktor and Iris Lana
Dramaturgy: Yair Vardi
Thanks to Mifal HaPais Council for the Culture and Arts & The Choreographers Association
Special thanks to Eldad Groopy, Inbal Dance Theater, and Mira Rashti from the “Simple Story” bookstore
